Drinks that contain added sugar and added flavors have a high-calorie count. Think about the fact that a can of soda (12 fl.oz) can have about 140 calories and 39 grams of sugar. That’s about 8 teaspoons of sugar! If you swap a few of your high calorie, high sugar drinks for low a or no-calorie drink you will save a few hundred calories a day.
