Biotin is a B-complex vitamin and coenzyme. It is also known as Vitamin B7, Vitamin H, and Coenzyme R. Biotin is extremely important for blood sugar balance. A diet low in biotin can interfere with the production of insulin which is the key hormone in the balancing of blood glucose.*
