Healthy Recipes For Your World Series Party

When it comes to the World Series, there are two things in common. Favorite team and favorite food! The favorite team is great to cheer for, but maybe we should not cheer so much for the favorite food! More often than not, that favorite food, eaten consistently is not going to help you win the healthy life.

At Nashua Nutrition we are all about your health. We think eating should be healthy, fun and full of great taste. For your World Series Party favorite munchies we have picked out four that may be a great alternative for you while you watch those home runs.

We found a few recipes that are sure to satisfy the moment for munchies and at the same time promote healthy snacking.

Baked zucchini chips prepared by slicing them, coconut oil, salt, and pepper. Then just need an oven at 250 degrees and 45 minutes. Absolutely delicious and beats the processed chips any day at any time.

Need some dip to go along with that Zucchini Chip? How about some White Bean Dip?

Just need some white beans from a can, garlic cloves, cumin, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Oh, did I mention the food processor? Well, they do have to be whipped together. It is a great alternative to the heavy fat dips you would normally get.

So what can you do with garbanzo beans, coconut oil, cayenne, salt, and pepper? You can bake a crunchy delight to sooth your appetite. It takes about 45 minutes in an oven and comes out crunchy.

Lastly, how about some bacon wrapped stuffed dates? Medjool Dates, almonds, Irish Cheddar Cheese and organic nitrate and nitrate free bacon. Simply replace the pits with the almonds and cheese, wrap them in half size strip of bacon. Bake in an oven for an hour in a glass baking dish lined with foil. Try not to eat all of these yourself, you still have to share.

Well, there you have it. Healthy snacks for a healthy home run. All at the same time watching your favorite team in the World Series! Have a great time.
